This California king bed was dubbed the “Hang Ten” bed for its impressive ten foot long head board and its modern California aesthetic.  Though large in scale, a great deal of attention was given to proper proportions of its elements to create a harmonious balance.

Featuring two integral nightstands, the bed is a laminate construction with solid birch, birch veneer, and solid beech slats for the platform.  The entire piece is finished with a natural hand rubbed shellac finish.
