The Eagle Rock Dresser was a custom commission for a client who wanted the design to mimic a small jewelry box that they admired, enlarged to their specific dimensions. Of utmost importance to the clients was that the case be built to very high standards, constructed with time tested and traditional joinery, and be mid-century in styling.
It has traditional web frame construction, with drawers that are inset and fully hand dovetailed, and the back is made with frame and panel construction. The piece sits on a mortise and tenon constructed base with small tapered mid-century legs.
