ECHO PARK SHOJI SCREENS
These Shoji screens were a custom commission for a client’s home in Echo Park, California. They filled the need for both ample light and privacy in the home’s master bedroom, office, and walk-in closet.
THE DESIGN
The larger of the three, spanning 16 feet, is constructed of rift sawn white oak and laminated shoji paper. The two taller screens were constructed of hard maple. Both sets were built to blend in with the flooring and trim of the existing rooms.
CUSTOM OPTIONS
Shoji screens can be custom built for a wide variety of window and door openings, or alternatively as stand alone room dividers and screens. Please contact me for custom configurations.
